Parexel is seeking a skilled Contract Manager to join our Commercial Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent management of all contracts through the contract management process. Your role will involve developing account-specific standards, documentation, and negotiations with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the contract process for specific or varied accounts, coordinating with Operations, Project Management, Legal, Business Development, and Finance teams to prepare, review, and negotiate contracts.
  • Serve as the primary client contact during the negotiation phase and maintain ongoing interface with clients regarding contractual issues.
  • Establish and maintain direct client contact, creating and negotiating budget and contractual documents, including Start-up Agreements, Work Orders, and Change Orders.
  • Develop partnerships with key clients and establish account-specific standards for contracts, including presentation of budget, payment terms, and standard contract language.
  • Proactively involve project management in reviewing project status, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and milestones, and identifying changes to contracts.
  • Communicate with the FBP regarding ongoing budget changes and provide finance system load-ready budget tools in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Broad experience in contract management, with knowledge of clinical trials and/or industry experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cash flow and revenue recognition, as well as relevant software (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Databases).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Business, or equivalent.
