Position Overview

As we continue to grow, we seek a skilled Leave Coordinator to oversee our Leave of Absence (LOA) program.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Administer the complete leave process, including application, approval, and tracking.
  • Evaluate leave eligibility and types in accordance with applicable laws and organizational guidelines.
  • Facilitate the processing of leave applications and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
  • Ensure timely submission of necessary forms to relevant insurance carriers.
  • Guide employees through the leave process, clarifying policies and procedures related to various leave types.
  • Engage in follow-up communications with employees regarding their leave status and return-to-work plans.
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding the status of leave requests.
  • Collaborate with management to support employees returning to work under modified duty arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate leave data within the HR Information System (HRIS) for reporting purposes.
  • Keep employee leave files organized and up-to-date with all relevant documentation.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of leave administration processes.
  • Stay informed about legal changes related to leaves and accommodations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong understanding of company policies to ensure fair and consistent application.
  • Familiarity with HR functions, particularly in benefits administration.
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including ADA, FMLA, and Workers' Compensation.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with care.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
