As we continue to grow, we seek a skilled Leave Coordinator to oversee our Leave of Absence (LOA) program.
Role Responsibilities:- Administer the complete leave process, including application, approval, and tracking.
- Evaluate leave eligibility and types in accordance with applicable laws and organizational guidelines.
- Facilitate the processing of leave applications and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
- Ensure timely submission of necessary forms to relevant insurance carriers.
- Guide employees through the leave process, clarifying policies and procedures related to various leave types.
- Engage in follow-up communications with employees regarding their leave status and return-to-work plans.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding the status of leave requests.
- Collaborate with management to support employees returning to work under modified duty arrangements.
- Maintain accurate leave data within the HR Information System (HRIS) for reporting purposes.
- Keep employee leave files organized and up-to-date with all relevant documentation.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of leave administration processes.
- Stay informed about legal changes related to leaves and accommodations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
- Strong understanding of company policies to ensure fair and consistent application.
- Familiarity with HR functions, particularly in benefits administration.
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including ADA, FMLA, and Workers' Compensation.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with care.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
