Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Role Overview:
The Maintenance Supervisor is tasked with overseeing skilled trades personnel to ensure efficient production operations. This role involves supporting automation and control systems within manufacturing, as well as planning and prioritizing project tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate activities in alignment with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles.
- Manage the operation and training of the plant's Total Maintenance System (TMS) alongside Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and plant schedules.
Essential Qualifications:
- Availability for any shift is required.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
- At least 3 years of experience in industrial automation with a focus on project management.
- Capability to work flexible hours and overtime as necessary.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities to engage with various employee levels, from hourly workers to senior management.
- Proven ability to cultivate effective business relationships with plant leadership and clients.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Self-motivated leader with a goal-oriented mindset.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing skilled trade personnel.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and lean manufacturing practices.
- Background in leading maintenance teams within a unionized setting.
- Training in Green Belt/Red X/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with controls, robotics, drives, system-level communication systems, sealing systems, glass cell systems, various conveyance systems, welding techniques, painting processes, and vision systems.
- Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing pillar methodologies and their implementation.
- Proficient in Google Suite software applications.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED.
