EHS Coordinator

Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturing client in the recruitment of an EHS Coordinator. This is a contract opportunity, working on 1st shift, Monday-Friday.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, including root cause analysis to determine the underlying causes and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records and documentation.
- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as CPR, first aid, and OSHA regulations to ensure compliance and a safe working environment.
- Monitor compliance with EPA regulations and ensure that all necessary permits and certifications are in place.
- Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and implement solutions to prevent future incidents.
- Fabricate reports on safety metrics and incidents to provide valuable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
- Strong report writing skills to effectively communicate safety metrics and incidents to stakeholders.
- Experience in training development to create engaging and effective safety training programs.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations to ensure compliance and a safe working environment.
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis to determine the underlying causes of incidents and implement corrective actions.
