Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecting the SAP S/4 Technical landscape, particularly the SAP Rise platform, inclusive of BTP.
  • Ensuring accountability for the S4 HANA technical solution architecture from conceptualization to execution.
  • Participating in design reviews, identifying deficiencies, and proposing enhancements while considering the complexity of the landscape.
  • Communicating and documenting technical solutions for clients, stakeholders, vendors, and team members across varying proficiency levels.
  • Presenting solutions and alternatives to leadership and project teams, adjusting communication style for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Defining solution specifications by comprehending the interplay of all business model components, including processes, operating systems, and application architecture.
  • Adhering to Clean Core principles, ensuring that any deviations from standard solutions are justified with a solid business rationale.
  • Leading the implementation of best practices in technical systems.
  • Conducting proof-of-concept initiatives and prototypes to demonstrate solutions.
Required Qualifications:
  • Over 10 years of extensive experience in SAP environments.
  • Proficient in SAP BTP, integrating both SAP and non-SAP systems using middleware platforms.
  • Experience with diverse SAP development tasks, including WRICEF objects, User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs, Enhancements, AMDP, CDS, APIs, and EDI/IDoc within ECC and S4 contexts.
  • Strong functional knowledge in areas such as FTM, OTC, PTP, EWM, EHS, GTS, and Logistics, with significant experience in full lifecycle SAP S/4 implementations.
  • Familiarity with ODATA, Fiori, UI5, and REST-based web services.
  • Experience coordinating development efforts for both onshore and offshore teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, software engineering, or computer science.
  • Experience in implementing and supporting SAP ECC (6.0 or higher) and/or S/4HANA (1909 or higher).
  • Technical expertise in at least three medium to large full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations.
  • Knowledge of the Chemical, Specialty Chemical, Energy, or Oil & Gas industries, or similar regulated sectors.
  • Experience leading BTP SAP Basis, Development, and Integration teams.
  • Familiarity with extended enterprise applications, including ESKER, Chrome River, Banking, Vertex, RFGEN, and APIs.
  • Knowledge of Chemical-specific SAP modules and applications, such as Product Compliance (EHS), Chemmate, and Safety Data Sheets.
