Job Summary:

Aerospace Engineering Administrator sought to provide technical and administrative support to NDE engineering team in West Hartford, CT. The ideal candidate will have an Engineering or Physics degree and internship or 6 months plus experience in manufacturing or lab environment. Key responsibilities include providing technical support, coordinating inspection assignments, and tracking progress of inspector results. The successful candidate will also have experience with training, auditing NDT systems, and establishing NDT and general quality systems and NDT methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to NDE engineering team
  • Coordinate inspection assignments and track progress of inspector results
  • Request quotes from vendors and monitor progress to schedule requirements
  • Perform technical and inventory activities under direction of NDE Engineers
  • Prepare parts for FPI, clean parts post inspection, package parts, and prepare inspection documentation

Requirements:

  • Engineering or Physics Degree
  • Internship or 6 months plus experience in manufacturing or lab environment
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Experience with training, auditing NDT systems
  • Experience in establishing NDT and general quality systems and NDT methods
  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing operations
  • Knowledge and experience with root cause and process control tools
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft suite
  • Experience with programming (desirable)
