Job Summary:

CC Holdings is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishwasher at our IGC Cafe. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on a conveyor to the dishwashing machine.
  • Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining organizational ability to identify and act on job duties quickly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a dynamic and efficient work environment.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, food storage procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerance.
  • Ensure quality and safety of food by performing standard and additional sanitary measures.
  • Work at an efficient and consistent pace.
  • Knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation, and principles of safe food handling is required.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work.
  • Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to deal with changes and willingness to assist in other tasks when asked.

Requirements:

  • Arrive in proper uniform and adhere to all grooming standards.
  • Set up station according to cafe guidelines.
  • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
  • Follow portion control and presentation specifications as set by the café.
  • Restock all items as needed throughout the shift.
  • Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills.
  • Have understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station.
  • Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
