Your Responsibilities
  • Manage the blow molding operations, ensuring optimal workflow and effective use of personnel, machinery, and facilities.
  • Oversee maintenance, repair, and installation of blow mold and injection mold equipment, as well as downstream machinery.
  • Handle both emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance within the Blow Mold Department, executing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Lead the installation and troubleshooting of industrial electrical and control systems for blow mold equipment.
  • Supervise personnel performance, including staffing, training, and disciplinary actions.
  • Utilize troubleshooting skills to resolve equipment issues and provide technical support for repairs.
  • Report on molds and machines needing maintenance to ensure proactive equipment upkeep.
  • Recommend capital improvements to enhance safety, product quality, efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
  • Develop and refine standard operational practices, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
  • Address operational and manufacturing challenges, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred, or equivalent supervisory experience.
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, with a preference for knowledge in plastic blow molding and packaging.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in blow mold manufacturing is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience is required.
  • Strong technical and mechanical expertise is essential.
  • Ability to respond effectively to operational challenges, demonstrating strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles, 5S, and Continuous Improvement Projects.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
