Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Shift Lead will oversee the employees on their shift, ensuring they maximize productivity while adhering to the highest safety standards. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coach, train, and hold employees accountable.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate expectations and goals daily, weekly, and monthly to employees to meet Relogistics performance standards.
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure Safety Standards are met under the direction of the On-Site Manager.
- Conduct Safety Meetings with employees and establish expectations.
- Communicate with customers regarding needs or concerns.
- Coach, train, provide feedback, and hold employees accountable as needed.
- Complete all production paperwork with accuracy.
- Communicate directly with the On-Site Manager regarding employee issues.
- Loading and unloading materials from trailers.
- Moving pallets or material on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
- Stacking pallets or materials in the correct manner, following inventory control instructions.
- Checking to ensure loads are secure.
- Ensuring daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are performed.
- Following instructions for operating equipment and keeping accurate records.
- Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Organizing and maintaining file systems, filing correspondence, and other records.
- Performing basic financial data entry.
- Executing assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
- May be required to assist with forklift driver duties, as needed.
- Supervisor or Lead experience preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Good math, language, and reading skills with attention to detail and basic computer skills.
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Forklift certification per OSHA standards.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
- Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights.

- Ability to work in extreme conditions, including elements, heat, cold, and air particulate.
- Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths.
- The employee is frequently required to sit, talk, hear, walk, and use hands to handle, feel, and reach.
- The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes).
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
- Must have a good sense of balance and good eye-hand-foot coordination.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
