Job Description

The Nothing Bundt Cakes #195 baking team member plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality cakes are consistently produced for our guests. This position requires partnering with the Baker to meet production demands and contribute to superior service. The team member will follow strict proprietary recipes, production methods, and food safety standards to help the Baker perform the repeated baking process for our delicious cakes offered in various flavors and sizes. Additionally, they will assist in the dish pit to maintain clean pans and materials for the baking team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recipe Execution: Follows proprietary recipes and cake production methods with precision to achieve productivity goals.
  • Baking Operations: Effectively utilizes measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers and ovens, and other tools to bake cakes.
  • Preparation and Assistance: Assists the Baker with accurately preparing raw ingredients and equipment for baking, placing cake pans in the oven, and monitoring the baking process.
  • Production Flow: Assists the Baker with daily baking and production flow, processing, and adhering to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of baked cakes.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks the workstation, ensuring all baking supplies are prepared for the next shift.
  • Health and Safety: Complies with all health and safety guidelines and company policies and procedures, including dress code and personal hygiene.
  • Attendance and Punctuality: Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a Baker or in another operational support role at a bakery, restaurant, or foodservice environment is a plus.

Must have the flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on changing business demands.
