Position Summary: The Box Inductor plays a crucial role in the logistics process by manually handling product loading, sorting, and delivering items to designated distribution zones for packaging and shipment, all while ensuring a safe and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments through physical verification.
- Inspect products for quality and precision.
- Utilize designated software for tracking outbound deliveries.
- Implement packaging protocols to safeguard shipments.
- Verify that serial and batch numbers correspond with products, fulfilling customer orders in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare, pack, and dispatch finished goods.
- Process customer orders to ensure accurate shipments.
- Identify and replace defective items prior to packaging.
- Load packages onto transport vehicles.
- Employ computer systems to generate labels and maintain equipment.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks as necessary.
- Assign processed products to the appropriate courier for shipping.
- Support other departments as required and undertake additional tasks as assigned.
- Organize storage space for incoming shipments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse at all times.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.
Compensation: $15.50 per hour
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting, with a focus on teamwork.
- Experience with hand-held RF Gun technology.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Capability to manually and/or mechanically load, unload, or stack materials and products.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office) are preferred.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs.
- Skills in packaging goods for shipment or storage, including measuring, weighing, or counting items.
