The Forklift Operator plays a crucial role in our operations, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the plant. This position involves navigating various equipment, including forklifts and clamp trucks, to ensure that products are handled properly and inventory is managed effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
 As a Forklift Operator, your duties will include:

Unloading materials from incoming shipments and distributing them to designated areas Maintaining accurate inventory records and tracking product movements Assisting with the processing of damaged or broken materials Reporting any discrepancies or quality issues Conducting regular inspections of machinery to ensure operational safety and performing maintenance as required Delivering raw materials to production lines and coordinating with warehouse teams Operating Laser Guided Vehicles (LGVs) and ensuring compliance with safety protocols Upholding high safety standards and participating in safety investigations when necessary Keeping the work environment clean and organized, adhering to housekeeping procedures Understanding and following procedures for handling non-hazardous materials

Qualifications:
 To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

A High School Diploma or GED equivalent Familiarity with Laser Guided Vehicles (LGVs) is preferred A strong commitment to safety and compliance with manufacturing protocols The ability to work in a physically demanding environment Capability to lift weights up to 50 lbs, with assistance for heavier loads Flexibility to work a rotating shift schedule, including nights and weekends
