About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Construction Management Instructor to join our faculty at Dunwoody College. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching and developing curriculum in our Construction Management program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and develop curriculum in Construction Management, including courses such as Construction Estimating, Construction Planning and Scheduling, and Construction Technology.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and professionals to provide students with real-world learning experiences.
  • Assess and advise students on their technical and academic progress, and provide guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to improve teaching and learning, and contribute to the development of new programs and courses.
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments, and incorporate best practices into your teaching and curriculum development.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Construction Management or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field with certification in a relevant area.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in teaching and curriculum development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and industry partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
