Business Operations Assistant

The Business Operations Assistant will provide administrative support to the Business Office, ensuring the smooth operation of financial and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial software, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various groups.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare bank reconciliations and monthly Treasurer's Reports
* Support Business Office personnel in payroll, accounts payable, and health benefits administration
* Submit grant reimbursement requests and Final Expenditure Reports
* Prepare SEMI quarterly financials and annual cost reporting
* Assist with annual audit and Chapter 44 reporting
Requirements:
* New Jersey School Business Administrator Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility required
* Experience with Systems 3000 and school business office operations preferred
* Excellent technology and computer application skills, including Excel and Google
* Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal reporting requirements and applicable laws
