Global Sales Director

Canonical is seeking a seasoned sales professional to drive business growth as the Americas Sales Director, ISV Embedded Solutions. The successful candidate will lead customer and partner relationships, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with product management to ensure fitness and enhancement of our platforms and solutions for ISVs.
The role entails:
- Driving embedded support and licensing sales with ISVs to exceed quarterly and annual bookings targets.
- Leading customer and partner relationships and interactions through all stages of the sales, customer success, and support lifecycle.
- Deepening understanding and engagement with the open source ecosystem.
- Identifying and developing partnerships that support Canonical's strategic ambitions.
- Negotiating contracts with new and existing ISV partners and customers.
We offer competitive compensation, including an estimated base salary of $140,000 - $160,000 per year, plus performance-driven annual bonus or commission.

- A passion for technology and extensive experience with the software and SaaS industry, Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred), the open source ecosystem, cloud models, and container service offerings.
