Key Responsibilities
  • Answer telephones and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to coordinate transfers and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care.
  • Maintain awareness of bed availability and patient flow to ensure efficient transfers.
  • Manage multiple requests and interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with computer applications and telephone systems to ensure efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
  • BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
  • Critical care and/or emergency nursing experience preferred.
  • Transfer center experience preferred.
  • BSN preferred.
