Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Operations team as a Senior Team Leader. This role will play a critical part in leading our firm's effort to expand the array of products offered to our branch teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the Operations Division in cross-divisional working groups to consider onboarding new products to the firm.
  • Assist in researching, consulting, and advising on the impact of new products on operations, including digital build and process considerations.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts within Operations and other departments to understand the impact of new products.
  • Develop and implement optimal solutions for product onboarding, including establishing criteria and requirements.
  • Lead efforts to identify ownership and coordinate workflow with impacted stakeholders.
  • Understand upstream and downstream impacts on other departments and divisions within the firm.
  • Explore multiple options and arrive at a solution that aligns with area goals.
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills to research non-routine questions and recognize complex situations involving client accounts and firm systems.
  • Analyze, research, and make decisions on non-routine issues independently with little or no guidance.
  • Apply deep understanding of regulatory environment to reach appropriate conclusions in the best interest of clients and the firm.
  • Continually increase acumen in the alternative assets space.
  • Become acclimated with technology utilized within the department.
  • Responsible for Records and Information Management (RIM coordinator) for the department.
  • Establish controls and oversight for new work within the department.
Requirements
  • Series 7 license.
  • Familiarity with varying products within the capital markets.
  • Awareness of firm policies, structure, and organization.
  • Comfortable driving results in an ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to research and problem-solve questions and issues arising.
  • Clear articulation of thoughts both verbally and through written communication.
  • Comfortable representing Edward Jones to external vendors, product partners, and other entities.
  • Ability to evaluate processes and assist in mitigating inherent risks.
  • Well-organized and able to create structure and documentation for work performed.
  • May be asked to travel from time to time as the job requires.

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:

Hiring Minimum: $96,471

Hiring Maximum: $164,262
