Position Overview

As an Ammunition Stock Control and Accounting Specialist with the Army National Guard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our ammunition supplies are meticulously managed and readily available. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the inventory of munitions and execute accounting processes related to ammunition, explosives, and their associated components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct ammunition supply stock control and accounting tasks utilizing both automated systems and manual methods.
  • Maintain essential hardware and software systems along with the necessary manual records to effectively manage stock control and accounting for munitions.

Skills Development

Throughout your training, you will acquire valuable skills, including:
  • Utilizing data browsers for automated processes related to the issuance, receipt, shipment, and maintenance of ammunition.
  • Creating radio frequency identification system tags and generating relevant reports.
  • Uploading and downloading data processing equipment while executing individual and collective warrior tasks.

Essential Skills

Compensation and Benefits
