Ocular District Manager

Bausch + Lomb, a leading global eye health company, is seeking a highly skilled Ocular District Manager to lead our Pharmaceutical brand sales and in-field marketing efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing district strategies, and fostering a winning culture among our Territory Managers.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct management and supervision of Territory Managers, including hiring, training, and development.
- Attainment of district sales goals and key performance metrics, such as sales calls per day and call plan adherence.
- Fostering a positive, inclusive, and diverse work environment that promotes a winning culture.
- Face-to-face field time with direct reports and customers to mentor, develop, and drive sales results.
- Allocation of resources and implementation of strategies, including educational budgets and samples.
- Analysis and development of district business plans, including customer identification, prioritization, competitive analysis, and implementation plans.
- Tracking and setting strategy with Territory Managers based on lead and lag measures.
- Providing feedback to the organization on field needs and competitive market threats and opportunities.
- Working cross-functionally with peers, home office, and field employees to drive business results.
- Continuously improving knowledge of Bausch + Lomb products, competitive products, and management skills through ongoing home study and participation in company-sponsored training programs.
- Reviewing and auditing Territory Manager expense reports.
- Overseeing district implementation and monitoring adherence to compliance policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing or related field.
- 10+ years of sales and/or management experience in the healthcare market with documented performance.
- Computer, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 75% with occasional weekend conference attendance.
- Prior sales management experience in healthcare, preferably in the ophthalmic industry.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
This position may be available in various locations, including San Francisco, CA. Bausch + Lomb is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates. The estimated salary range for this role is between $165,000.00 and $200,000.00. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives, as well as medical, dental, vision insurance, disability and life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match.
