Data Center Operations Manager

Job Summary
Selby Jennings is seeking an experienced Data Center Coordinator to manage its global data center operations. This role requires a strong understanding of data center infrastructure, outage troubleshooting, and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of global data centers to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve outages while performing root cause analysis.
- Work with international vendors for maintenance schedules and technology implementations.
- Manage infrastructure transitions, ensuring all equipment and configurations are accurate and up to date.
- Monitor performance metrics to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of assets, configurations, and service agreements.
- Provide on-call support for critical incidents as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- More than 5 years of experience in data center operations, ideally within global environments.
- 3+ years of experience in managing global data center operations.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, outage troubleshooting, and vendor management.
- Organizational and communication skills for managing international operations.
Work Environment
This role must sit in the firm's Chicago office working in person 5 days per week.
