Key Responsibilities
  • Provide working knowledge of subject matter pertaining to one or more technology pillars, including cloud technology, networking, messaging and unified communications, servers, cybersecurity, identity access, and endpoint manager deployment and maintenance.
  • Act as escalation resource for Systems Administrators and provide quality service and support to our valued clients, including analysis, consultation, design, and implementation.
  • Follow internal process for handling requests, updating clients, and other administrative tasks, and update client "Guidebooks" documentation to ensure up-to-date information.
  • Provide onsite customer support as required and communicate effectively with clients and internal team members, collaborating with peers to ensure timely resolution is achieved.
  • Ability to coordinate, work with, and gain the trust of business stakeholders and technical resources, and work under pressure in time-critical situations.
  • Demonstrate creative thinking and strong problem-solving instinct, listen and seek to fully understand client requests to exceed expectations of service, and actively participate in learning opportunities and complete assigned curriculum in a timely manner.
  • Mentor All Covered System Administrators and System Engineers by providing answers and assistance with complex technologies, and complete projects and tasks as assigned by management.
  • Implement client projects by drawing upon a variety of prior technical experience and achieve 2 – 3 technical certifications a year.
Requirements
  • High school or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant technical and customer service experience in systems analysis, implementation, and support for current technologies.
  • One or more of the following (or approved similar) certifications are required: AWS Cloud Practitioner / Sys Ops Administrator, Citrix Certified Associate – Virtualization (CCA-V), Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Google Foundational, VMware VCTA, Cisco CCST, Fortinet NSE4, ComptTIA Network+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
  • Perform work and solve problems independently and with limited supervision, handle technical issues and problems, and escalate appropriately to solve difficult challenges.
  • Candidate possesses and demonstrates working knowledge of the following technologies: current Windows Desktop and server Operating Systems, Windows Active Directory/Azure (User Management/Administration/Group Policy), common desktop applications including Microsoft Office Suite, current Exchange Server/M365/Mail services, supporting firewalls, switches, and security functionality, common TCP/IP services including HTTP, FTP, DNS, and DHCP, current Cloud services and technologies including Virtualization, RDP, etc.
  • Initiates knowledge publication and serves as a knowledge approver in their area of expertise.
