Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in all stages of the implementation life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, mapping, prototyping, configuration, unit testing, and post-implementation support.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to enhance and troubleshoot SAP functionalities, ensuring effective communication of work efforts to management.
  • Conduct technical analysis, design solutions, develop documentation, and perform peer reviews while testing and implementing SAP enhancements.
  • Provide gap analysis from a technical viewpoint, outlining current and future states, client requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Develop and document technical designs in collaboration with solution architects and business analysts.
  • Perform unit testing for new support packages and functionality, working closely with project teams and supporting functional testing.
  • Evaluate software development, system reliability, maintainability, and availability.
  • Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams to design complex processes for SAP configuration, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Address enhancement requests and resolve incidents within established service level agreements.
  • Support continuous DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline releases and participate in Agile ceremonies.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet standards for completeness, consistency, quality, and traceability.
  • Prepare progress reports for leadership and monitor project advancements.
  • Identify risks, manage issues, liaise with clients, and keep leadership updated on project status.
  • Develop estimates and schedules for various solution alternatives.
  • Produce white papers, root cause analyses, and other documentation as required.
  • Assist management with additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Adhere to established development techniques and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen (no dual citizenship).
  • Preference for candidates with completed Public Trust investigation or active DoD security clearance.
  • Experience integrating SAP solutions across various DoD ERPs/SAP solutions is preferred.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in ERP SAP implementation.
  • 10+ years of experience in ABAP development, including custom reports, transactions, interfaces, and enhancements.
  • Strong experience in debugging, technical integration, and developing RICEFW objects.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies, preferably SAFe and/or DevSecOps.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with S/4HANA, FICO, EWM, QM, TM, and PI/PO integration is desirable.
