Role Overview:
As a Senior SAP IBP Consultant, you will play a crucial role in the design, configuration, and documentation of the SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) application to align with our business goals. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire project lifecycle, from initial blueprinting to final deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to comprehend their Supply Chain and Sales & Operations Planning needs, including production planning and scheduling, and provide technological solutions to enhance these processes.
- Facilitate design workshops to represent processes and sub-processes, defining the architecture, process design, and technical specifications.
- Create and execute test scripts, assess functionality, and address any defects.
- Review and refine all project deliverables throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure they meet quality standards and traceability requirements.
- Identify design challenges and provide constructive feedback during design reviews.
- Gather and evaluate requirements, scope projects, and lead the design and implementation of IBP solutions.
- Collaborate with the development team to outline, estimate, and document solution designs for enhancements and alternative options.
- Ensure seamless integration of components to meet defined objectives and performance metrics.
- Support clients in the implementation of large-scale SAP systems, leading initiatives to guarantee project success.
- Prepare and present progress reports to internal leadership and clients, monitoring project advancements.
- Mitigate risks, address issues, and maintain communication with clients and leadership regarding project status.
- Work closely with program architects and leadership to identify potential business opportunities.
- Develop estimates and schedules for multiple solution alternatives.
- Produce white papers, root cause analyses, and other relevant documentation as necessary.
- Provide management support and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- U.S. Citizenship (no dual citizenship).
- Preference for candidates with a completed Public Trust investigation or an active DoD security clearance.
- 10+ years of progressive experience as a SAP IBP/APO business analyst.
- 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning processes, particularly in Sales & Operations Planning, statistical forecasting, demand management, and inventory planning.
- 5+ years of technical integration experience with SAP EWM, MM, QM, and SD modules.
- 2+ years of experience in Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA technical solutions.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Experience integrating SAP solutions with other DoD ERPs or SAP systems.
