Job Description

Job Summary

The GovServicesHub is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our organization's mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our organization, including network architecture, server infrastructure, and storage systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that infrastructure solutions align with business objectives and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of infrastructure configurations, including network diagrams, server configurations, and storage layouts.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, including network connectivity, server performance, and storage issues.
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
  • Configure and add new services as necessary, including network services, server services, and storage services.
  • Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning, and perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience in the field or related subject matter area.
  • 5 years of experience in General Information Technology.
  • 5 years of experience in Customer Service.
  • 4 years of experience in Cisco Routing and Switching.
  • 4 years of experience in Hardware Installation.
  • 3 years of experience in Network Design.
  • 3 years of experience in Vsphere/Virtualization.
  • 1 year of experience in VPN & Remote Access Technologies.
  • Cybersecurity experience is required.
  • Backup Solutions experience is required.
  • Network Monitoring experience is required.
  • DNS/DHCP experience is desired.
  • Network Cable Management experience is desired.
  • Cisco Firepower/Firewall Management experience is desired.
  • Solutions Design build experience is desired.
  • Integration Troubleshooting experience is desired.
  • Software Integrations experience is desired.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with IT service management frameworks.
