We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Employee Health RN to join our team at Nuvance Health Med Practice PC. As a key member of our Employee Health Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our employees and pre-employed individuals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in primary care, ensuring high-quality medical care for employees within the workplace and pre-employed individuals.
- Assess, monitor, and implement supportive nursing care, health counseling, and education to patients related to workplace injuries and employee illnesses.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management, Human Resources, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Conduct initial assessments of Workers' Compensation injuries and administer first aid when necessary.
- Administer immunizations and PPDs as required, and take and record vital signs.
- Collaborate with department managers and Human Resources to address employee restrictions and requests for accommodations.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, Network policies, and regulatory agency requirements.
- Three years of hands-on nursing experience.
- Excellent customer service skills, good phone skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Demonstrated compassion while remaining objective.
This position requires manual skills, occupational risk, and medium to heavy physical effort. The working environment is generally pleasant.
