As an Employee Health RN with Nuvance Health Med Practice PC, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of employees within the workplace. This per diem position requires a skilled and compassionate nurse to provide clinical leadership and expertise in primary care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor employee health, providing supportive nursing care and health counseling as needed.
- Communicate effectively with management, Human Resources, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless coordination of employee health initiatives.
- Conduct pre-employment screenings, including scheduling, exam preparation, and result follow-up.
- Administer immunizations and PPDs as required, and take and record vital signs.
- Collaborate with department managers and Human Resources to address employee restrictions and requests for accommodations.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, Network policies, and regulatory agency requirements.
Requirements:
Three years of hands-on nursing experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred, and prior Employee Health experience is a plus.
Working Conditions:
This position requires medium to heavy physical effort, with the ability to exert up to 35 pounds of force. The working environment is generally pleasant, with some occupational risk.
