ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Join us as a Senior Software Engineer, taking on a crucial role within our engineering team, responsible for the development and management of our proprietary identity platform. Your primary focus will be on enhancing our identity platform and its integrations with various third-party services, including social networks and strategic partners. You will collaborate extensively with stakeholders across our business sectors to design cutting-edge identity solutions. Your contributions will be vital in producing highly efficient, quality code while ensuring our systems surpass non-functional requirements for outstanding user experiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Participating in the engineering team responsible for managing, updating, and evolving our proprietary identity platform.
- Overseeing our identity platform and its integrations with various third-party services (social networks, strategic partners).
- Collaborating with diverse stakeholders across our businesses to ensure the development of industry-leading identity solutions.
- Keeping up with trends in the identity technology sector to leverage technologies that enhance user experiences and streamline registration and login processes.
- Writing highly efficient and high-quality code with comprehensive code coverage and automated testing.
- Ensuring that our non-functional requirements are industry-leading and that we consistently exceed expectations in their delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Proficiency in Golang or similar programming languages (e.g., Rust). We seek candidates who can contribute effectively from day one.
- Extensive experience working with external APIs and partners, ensuring the establishment and maintenance of data contracts and compatibility.
- Hands-on experience with OIDC and OAuth2.0 protocols.
- Understanding of identity technology, with exposure to industry leaders like Okta and Auth0.
- Innovative mindset with a passion for exploring new technologies and frameworks to enhance product performance and user experience.
- Collaborative spirit, able to work effectively within a team and contribute ideas while valuing collective success.
- Adaptability to evolving technologies and a willingness to embrace learning opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Open to attending occasional meetings and troubleshooting sessions outside of regular work hours, as Fox Tech is a globally distributed team.
PREFERABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with streaming applications, particularly those handling high-scale events.
- Background in e-commerce, especially with high-availability events (e.g., major sales).
- Experience in building an identity platform or integrating various identity providers.
- Experience working with geo-distributed teams and comfort with asynchronous collaboration.
- A deep understanding of OIDC and OAuth2.0 protocols, with multiple implementations.
