Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients with end-stage renal disease. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering safe and effective dialysis treatments.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Measure and record patient statistics, such as blood pressure and weight
- Assist with hemodialysis machine setup and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance patient care skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Basic life support certification (BLS) or willingness to obtain
