Job Summary

Nightwing is seeking a highly skilled IT Technical Trainer to join our team in the Washington Metropolitan Area. This role involves executing both Instructional Design and Training Coordinator responsibilities. The successful candidate will work with the customer and subject matter experts to deliver multiple Programs of Instruction preparing students for their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Training Services: Provide high-quality training services for IT (software and hardware) courses to ensure students acquire the necessary skills.
  • Analyze Training Needs: Conduct thorough analysis of IT training needs and develop effective solutions to meet the requirements.
  • Lead and Conduct Training: Lead, instruct, and conduct technical training courses to ensure students understand the material.
  • Design Instructional Materials: Collaborate with tool Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design instructional materials that meet the training objectives.
  • Maintain and Update Course Content: Maintain and update course content to ensure it remains relevant and effective.
  • Develop Courseware: Develop courseware for mission-specific training to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Coordinate Training: Coordinate formal group-level training to ensure it runs smoothly and effectively.
  • Establish Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with SMEs to ensure a smooth training process.
  • Plan and Synchronize Course Schedules: Plan and synchronize course schedules with stakeholders to ensure they meet the training objectives.
  • Manage Course Registration: Manage the course registration process to ensure students are properly enrolled.
  • Support Training Activities: Support other program training activities as needed to ensure the training objectives are met.
  • Enhance Training Value: Continuously enhance program training value and advance the team towards its goals.
  • Utilize Software Programs: Employ various software programs in daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills:
  • Customer Training Experience: Experience supporting customer training programs to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Instructional Design Experience: Formal instructional design and curriculum development experience to ensure effective training materials.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to ensure effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a teamwork-driven atmosphere to ensure a high level of productivity.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite to ensure efficient use of software programs.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to ensure effective resolution of training-related issues.
Required Education/Experience:

13+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 11 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree.
