About the Role

As a Kitchen Sanitation Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment within our client's kitchens. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring all dishes, cookware, utensils, and work surfaces are meticulously cleaned and sanitized according to established procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, trays, and other kitchenware using hand washing techniques or dishwashing machines.
  • Polish silverware to a high shine using various methods such as burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, and hand cloths.
  • Maintain meticulous cleanliness of the dish area, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly to ensure a clean and hygienic workspace.
  • Sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
  • Remove trash and dispose of it properly in designated containers. Clean garbage cans thoroughly.
  • Assist with the transfer of supplies and equipment between storage areas and workstations.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines outlined by our clients.
Qualifications

Prior experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred, but we are also willing to train motivated individuals. A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation is essential.
