Job Overview

The Marketing and Events Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of both internal and external events. This role requires end-to-end management, ensuring that each event is executed seamlessly, within budget, and aligns with the Bank's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all internal and external events.
  • Develop internal event concepts and strategies that align with employee engagement and marketing goals.
  • Collaborate with the executive leadership team to design and execute customer events aimed at deepening existing relationships and nurturing prospects.
  • Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and on-site event coordination.
  • Negotiate contracts and monitor event budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution without compromising quality.
  • Analyze the success of each event and provide post-event reports and recommendations for future improvements.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years related experience and/or training.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to find win-win solutions for everyone involved.
  • Professional image, with ability to represent Bank of Marin in a positive way.
  • Ability to regularly work flexible hours, including some local travel and occasional evening and weekend work.
