Front Desk Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at National Vision. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth flow of customers through the store, and performing various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality customer service while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Ensure a seamless customer experience by managing the flow of customers through the store.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in accordance with National Vision protocol.
- Process and understand managed care plans, obtaining necessary documentation from insurance companies.
- Offer customers accurate and helpful information.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits, and classes.
- Maintain patient records, filing daily and retrieving files for the next day's appointments.
- Monitor order status and notify customers of delays or arrivals.
- Keep the reception area tidy and well-stocked with necessary materials.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries, managing office supplies inventory.
- Participate in regular mandatory communication meetings.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Fluency in reading and speaking both English and Spanish.
- Experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role (preferred but not required).
- 0-2 years of related experience or training (preferred).
- Experience handling multiple phone lines (preferred).
- Strong customer service and organizational skills.
