Position Summary:

Metas Solutions is seeking a qualified Senior IT Project Manager - Agile Coach/Scrum Master to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate, plan, and oversee IT projects effectively.
  • Direct and mentor technical personnel.
  • Act as a bridge between business needs and technical execution, facilitating project and portfolio management.
  • Conduct project intake processes, including documenting business requirements, estimating time and costs, and prioritizing tasks.
  • Support resource management performance.
  • Lead project selection and process analysis, developing and maintaining project management tools and standards using MS Project Server.
  • Facilitate scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Manage the scope and timelines for scrum team deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the product owner to define and prioritize project tasks.
  • Identify and resolve conflicts and obstacles affecting team progress.
  • Keep the team focused on achieving sprint objectives.
  • Coach agile teams on methodologies and best practices.
  • Develop and enforce agile standards and requirements.
  • Provide training and workshops on agile processes for employees and stakeholders.
  • Foster an agile mindset and culture throughout the organization.
  • Assist teams in utilizing agile tools and software effectively.
  • Mentor teams on Agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Identify and address challenges in the Agile adoption journey.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to cultivate a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
  • 5+ years of experience using JIRA.
  • Proven experience in leading client delivery engagements and collaborating with senior-level management.
  • Experience in educating technical teams on Agile framework principles.
  • Certification related to Scrum Master role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients, engineers, and managers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active CDC badge is preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to provide technical support to IT development teams.
