Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Seafood Manager to ensure seamless department operations and achieve sales goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Ensure that all product is properly rotated, labeled, and replenished to maintain a high level of freshness and quality.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or issues to the Seafood Manager.
  • Assist with training and development of team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently, following company and OSHA guidelines.
  • Participate in inventory management and control procedures to minimize losses and ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Assist with merchandising and visual displays to create an attractive and inviting shopping environment.
  • Stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and initiatives, and communicate changes and updates to team members.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the foodservice or retail industry.
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, team members, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
