  • Execute engineering site evaluations to gather essential structural, electrical, and related information for the design of solar power solutions.
  • Design or oversee the design of photovoltaic (PV) or solar thermal systems, ensuring compatibility with both residential and commercial infrastructures.
  • Create detailed electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and connection diagrams for solar electric systems utilizing CAD software.
  • Review technical specifications and suggest engineering or manufacturing modifications to meet solar design goals.
  • Formulate design specifications and functional requirements for solar energy systems or components across various sectors.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams during the installation, commissioning, and performance monitoring phases.
  • Conduct computer simulations to analyze the performance and energy production of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to enhance efficiency.
  • Establish standard operating procedures and quality or safety standards for solar installation projects.
  • Develop checklists for the review and inspection of completed solar installation projects.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in analytical or scientific software such as simulation software and MATLAB.
