The Salvation Army is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as the Kettle Program Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the Christmas Kettle program, including recruiting, training, and managing seasonal kettle fundraisers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact potential kettle sites and secure permission from store managers.
- Ensure equipment is in order and all necessary equipment is secured.
- Work with Corps officers to secure seasonal volunteer kettle fundraisers.
- Conduct a Kettle fundraiser orientation.
- Recruit volunteers and manage schedules to optimize fundraising potential.
- Transport volunteers to and from kettle locations.
- Collect and secure donations as per TSA policy.
- Assist with counting kettle donations.
- Ensure volunteers are provided with necessary equipment and follow proper procedures.
Requirements:
- Good driving record.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with others.
- Capable of performing physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
Work Environment:
