Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analog and Mixed Signal Designer to join our team at MediaTek. As a key member of our Analog Design and Circuit Technology team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced algorithms for future wireline connectivity and optical transceivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Algorithm Development: Design and implement high-level DSP algorithms in Matlab, Verilog, and C/C++ simulation platforms to optimize performance, complexity, and power consumption.
  • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with ASIC, and Analog-Mixed Signal design teams from different sites worldwide to provide full support for fixed-point design, pre- and post-silicon verifications in the product development.
  • Research and Development: Conduct future advanced research and development activities in wireline and optical communication areas.
Requirements
  • Theoretical Analysis Skills: Must have strong theoretical analysis skills and be capable of designing complex algorithms in communication systems.
  • Education: MS or above with a major in EE or Physics related field.
  • Research Experience: Research with publications or industry design experience in wireline and optical systems is preferred.
  • Simulation Experience: Sufficient physical layer simulation experience in communication systems.
  • Programming Skills: Must be proficient in Matlab, Verilog, C/C++ for algorithm design, integration, and verification.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, team-player and good working attitude.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: Salary range: $145,000 - $220,000.
  • Benefits: Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
