Mammography Technologist Lead

DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist Lead to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our mammography team, ensuring the highest level of patient care and quality imaging.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise the work of mammography technologists, ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality imaging standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
- Monitor and maintain equipment, supplies, and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide training and guidance to new staff members and ensure ongoing education and professional development.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Mammography (M).
- Two or more years of progressively more responsible mammography technologist work experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
