About the Role

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Hershey, PA. As a key member of our pharmacy services team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Medication Therapy Management: Evaluate and monitor drug therapy for hospitalized patients, making recommendations to improve pharmacotherapy outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Educate and inform healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers about drug therapy, as well as instruct and educate pharmacy students and residents.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Maintain active and valid PA licensure or eligibility as a Pharmacist, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and Implement Clinical Programs: Analyze clinical data, perform calculations, and utilize computer and Microsoft Office skills to develop and implement effective clinical programs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's of Science degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy required; ASHP-Accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy residency or 3 years of relevant clinical pharmacy experience required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to prioritize and organize daily activities, effective verbal communication skills, time management skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities required.
