Key Responsibilities- Provide Medication Therapy Management: Evaluate and monitor drug therapy for hospitalized patients, making recommendations to improve pharmacotherapy outcomes.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Educate and inform healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers about drug therapy, as well as instruct and educate pharmacy students and residents.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Maintain active and valid PA licensure or eligibility as a Pharmacist, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and Implement Quality Improvement Initiatives: Analyze clinical data, perform calculations, and apply knowledge of pharmacotherapy to drive quality improvement efforts.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's of Science degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy required; ASHP-Accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy residency or 3 years of relevant clinical pharmacy experience required.
- Skills and Abilities: Effective verbal communication skills, time management skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and attention to detail and critical thinking skills required.
