Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in the overall drug therapy management of patients in specific pharmacotherapy specialty areas.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement education programs for pharmacists, physicians, nurses, and pharmacy students regarding the appropriate utilization of medications.
- Provide in-service education to physicians, nurses, and medical students on the latest advancements in pharmacotherapy.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct patient monitoring and provide direct patient care through rounding and other activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to promote the appropriate use of medications.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
- ASHP-accredited PGY1 and relevant PGY2 specialty residency or equivalent experience required.
- Licensure to practice pharmacy in the state of Pennsylvania required.
