Job Summary:

The Fun Department Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fun department, ensuring that all guests have an exceptional experience. This role will involve managing labor efficiency, safety standards, and guest service standards, as well as coordinating training for new hires and assisting with error reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage On-Site Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the fun department, ensuring that all guests have an exceptional experience.
  • Labor Efficiency and Safety Standards: Manage labor efficiency and safety standards, ensuring that all team members are working efficiently and safely.
  • Guest Service Standards: Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service, resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate training for new hires, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties.
  • Error Reporting: Assist with error reporting, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Merchandise and Redemption Store: Assist with maintaining on-site display levels of merchandise and redemption store.
  • Team Member Scheduling: Assist with team member scheduling, ensuring that all shifts are covered and that team members are working efficiently.
  • Shift Operations: Assist with managing shift operations, including cash control, safety, and quality control.
  • Uniform Standards: Maintain uniform standards and a professional appearance.

Requirements:

  • Physical Requirements: Standing for long periods of time with frequent bending and turning, lifting 40 lbs, and comfortable climbing on a ladder.
  • Special Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old, obtain training certification per company policy, and possess a valid TABC or other legal license to sell/serve alcohol per local code.
  • Standard Company Expectations: Goes beyond the normal expectations without compromising the company mission, vision, and values, demonstrates the ability to be courteous and accountable in all situations, responds to guests' special requests in a courteous and accountable fashion, monitors the consistency of the product provided to all guests, works in a friendly, honest, and diligent manner with fellow team members, supervisors, and managers, cooperates with all team members when assigned additional tasks and listens to others with compassion, seeks knowledge from multiple sources and learns from past experiences for future development and growth, and maintains appearance and/or uniform standards.
