Role Responsibilities:
Your primary duties will include:

  • Welcoming, guiding, and scheduling patients and visitors
  • Performing various administrative tasks to support physicians and clinic personnel
  • Retrieving and managing insurance and patient data, ensuring all necessary forms are completed
  • Inputting new and existing patient information into our systems
  • Handling incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and relaying messages for staff
  • Monitoring and adjusting physician schedules as needed
  • Conducting patient care activities related to data entry and account management
  • Establishing payment plans and managing collections
  • Addressing inquiries regarding insurance claims, disability benefits, home health services, medical equipment, surgical procedures, medical records, and patient referrals

In your interactions with patients, families, visitors, and colleagues, a compassionate, friendly, and professional demeanor is essential. You will also be expected to perform additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Patient Service Representative role, candidates should possess:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred Experience: At least one year of relevant experience in a medical office setting
  • Completion of Clinic Core Front Desk Training is required for new hires

For those advancing to the role of Advanced Patient Service Representative, the following qualifications apply:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Patient Service Representatives must complete both Patient Service Representative and Advanced competencies prior to promotion
