Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Development Manager to join our team at Cardinal Health. As a key member of our GPO Manufacturer Sales and Solutions team, you will work collaboratively with pharmaceutical partners to orchestrate GPO product contractual agreements throughout the review and redline process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct first-pass review of contracts, amendments, CDAs, and MSAs from product manufacturers.
  • Review alignment to GPO standard template for inclusion of required legal language.
  • Determine appropriate 2nd line reviewers/approvers and route to team members and Account Executive aligned to manufacturer.
  • Monitor and track edits and approvals as received from reviewers.
  • Consolidate redlines/comments, review/work with AE, and upon approval, return redlines to manufacturer.
  • Coordinate virtual meetings with manufacturer for review of redlines and conduct real-time editing during meeting.
  • Track agreement processing to ensure timely processing for execution prior to established Effective Date.
  • Route fully executed document to internal team members and process storage of document.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience, preferably with contract and master services agreement, red-lining, and/or negotiations.
  • GPOs, pharmaceutical industry, and/or distribution experience highly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills required.
  • Experience with Sales Force and Contract Lifecycle Management Systems preferred.
