Role Overview & Significance
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with clients, as well as internal Planning and Investment teams, to formulate a comprehensive cross-media measurement strategy. You will be responsible for developing and sustaining internal modeling and technological solutions while leading a mid to large-sized team.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and mentor a team of analysts (5 direct reports).
- Demonstrate proficiency with primary buying and ad-serving platforms (Prisma, Sizmek, etc.).
- Oversee internal (Mindshare) and external client relationships to steer Business Intelligence initiatives.
- Design and manage research projects (Kantar Millward Brown, Upwave, Lucid, etc.).
- Assess vendors, technologies, and emerging advertising opportunities.
- Provide training to staff on both syndicated and proprietary research tools and systems, addressing daily inquiries.
- Achieve mastery of proprietary tools and systems (primarily focused on econometrics).
- Lead advanced analytic requests in conjunction with the modeling team, supporting the strategic vision of clients.
- Maintain client relationships effectively.
- Guide the team in creating long-term measurement roadmaps tailored to clients (primarily focused on mass media).
- Supervise the development and implementation of campaign-specific measurement frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field. Alternatively, equivalent professional experience is acceptable.
- A minimum of four to five years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Data Visualization tools – DOMO, Tableau; Web Analytics – Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics; Ad Servers – Sizmek; Syndicated Measurement – Nielsen, comScore; Ad Effectiveness Research – Kantar Millward Brown, Upwave, Lucid, Dynata.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, R, and Python.
