About Impact Kids:
Impact Kids is a dynamic organization dedicated to transforming the martial arts experience for children and adults alike. Our mission is to foster growth and development through martial arts education.

Ideal Candidate:
We are in search of a passionate and driven black belt instructor who embodies our mission and has a proven track record in supervising and managing youth. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in teaching martial arts techniques, nurturing positive relationships, and ensuring the safety and well-being of students aged 4 to 18.

Qualifications:
The successful applicant will be a skilled martial artist with expertise in a discipline compatible with karate, demonstrating a genuine enthusiasm for teaching. Strong communication skills are essential, enabling effective interaction with students and their families. Candidates must be able to provide constructive feedback, adhere to our curriculum, and work collaboratively within a team.

Experience Requirements:
Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with children in various capacities, such as tutoring, camp counseling, or youth volunteering. A minimum of 1 to 5 years of martial arts teaching experience is required.

Certification and Education:
While teaching certification is preferred, it is not mandatory. A bachelor's degree is also preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
The Martial Arts Instructor will be responsible for:

  • Delivering martial arts instruction to students of varying skill levels, aged 4 to 18.
  • Demonstrating techniques and providing feedback on student performance.
  • Supervising groups of students, focusing on behavior management, health, safety, and skill development.
  • Ensuring a safe training environment and enforcing martial arts regulations.
  • Creating engaging and creative lesson plans.
  • Utilizing effective classroom management to foster an inclusive atmosphere.
  • Collaborating with fellow instructors and serving as a positive role model.
  • Adhering to the Impact Kids Code of Conduct and maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Exhibiting the core values of Impact Martial Arts consistently.
  • Enjoying the process of teaching and learning.
