Job Summary:

Management Business Solutions is seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in phlebotomy and laboratory procedures, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and store specimens according to established procedures

Explain the process of venipuncture and other specimen collection to patients in a clear and courteous manner

Demonstrate technique using straight needles and/or butterfly needles

Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required

Package specimens for transport and store specimen samples according to required temperature

Understand and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations

Attend annual department trainings and answer telephone calls, read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries

Requirements:

Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed

Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

High School Diploma or GED
