Job Title: Certified Surgical Tech

Job Summary:
Emerald Health Services is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to join our team. As a Surgical Tech, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures. This is a 13-week contract position with 48 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
  • Monitor and maintain aseptic conditions during procedures
  • Communicate effectively with surgical team members

Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a Certified Surgical Tech
  • BLS certification
  • CST certification preferred but not required

Work Environment:
  • 22 ORs available
  • All ages (Peds to Adults) - 26 service lines offered
  • Peds cases are heavily ENT, General and Ortho
  • Neuro - highly preferred (needs manager approval to offer)
  • Trauma/General (open and laparoscopic)
  • Vascular - preferred but not required
  • Urology - laser lithotripsy, nephroureteral stent insertion/removal
  • ENT - T&As, endoscopic sinus, facial lesions
  • GYN - tubal ligations, D&Cs, hysteroscopies
  • Ortho and Ortho Trauma - Total joints (knees and hips, shoulders)
  • Robotics - preferred experience with Davinci XI
  • Ophthalmology - Retina
  • Thoracic
  • Max Facial and Dental
