IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to fill the role of Full-Time Help Desk Technician at The Affiliated Sante Group. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring prompt resolution of IT-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person, addressing hardware and software-related issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating complex problems to the appropriate IT teams if necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of support issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Install, configure, and update software applications, as well as provide support for computer hardware, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on software and hardware usage, creating user-friendly documentation and guides for common issues and solutions.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve escalated issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay informed about the latest technological advancements and provide input on potential improvements to current systems.
- Assist in enforcing IT security policies and procedures, educating users on best practices for maintaining the security of their systems.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Customer-oriented with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- Proficient in troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other common business applications.
- Basic understanding of network protocols and configurations.
- Experience with remote desktop support tools.
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) a plus.
