About the Role:
We are in search of a strategic People Operations Specialist to join our vibrant team and improve our HR functions. Reporting directly to the VP of People Operations, you will assist with daily operations, including onboarding new employees, managing HR administration, and ensuring compliance, while promoting positive workplace practices across all departments. Your comprehensive understanding of the employee lifecycle will enable you to deliver exceptional service to our employees, who are our internal clients, thereby enhancing their satisfaction. Jerry is developing the first AllCarTM super app designed to optimize every aspect of car ownership – including insurance, buying/selling, registration, loans, safety, repairs, and parking – within a $2T market in the U.S. We began with insurance in 2019 and have since launched loan refinancing, real-time driving insights, a repair marketplace, car diagnostics, and a GenAI-powered chatbot and voicebot. With over 5M customers, $240M in funding, and a revenue growth of 40X, our team has expanded to 250 members across 7 countries.
Your Impact:
- Deliver an engaging onboarding experience for new hires, emphasizing the significance of their roles in driving business success and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the creation and execution of employee engagement programs, including surveys, team-building activities, and recognition initiatives. Gather employee feedback to foster an inclusive workplace culture.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records, assist with benefits administration, and keep HR data current in HRIS systems. Aid in preparing HR documentation, such as offer letters, contracts, and onboarding materials.
- Act as the initial point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures. Support the HR team in addressing employee concerns and resolving issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources.
- A Master's Degree in Human Resources or Industrial-Organizational Psychology is preferred.
- Certification in SHRM or HRCI is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.
